1/12/18- Basic Communication
Communication to me is people talking to each other. I think it is important because it takes more than one person to have a conversation. There is non verbal and verbal communication. I communicate in class, at home, or anywhere that involves the need of talking. When I first meet someone new I tell them hi and give them my name. In front of teachers and parents I talk formally and respectfully. In front of friends and sibling talk informally. When commuting I see verbal and non verbal communication. Today in class I learned about verbal and non verbal communication.

I don't remember that much from when I first learned how to type. The only thing that i remember is learning how to type and it was at my home. I don't feel that comfortable when I type. I also feel slow.

In this section my overall performance was okay it could have been better, though I was trying my best to type as fast as I could. I tried focusing on not looking at the key board and my hand placement.

The area that I needed the most practice in was my hand placement and home row. I needed practice with this because I had trouble remembering where to place my hands and what letters my fingers were on. I constantly was typing the wrong letters when my fingers were in the home row.
4-25-18 Final Typing Test 34 WPM
Since when I first started this I knew I was a slow typist but after I felt like I had gotten a little faster at typing and recognizing where the keys are. I had experience for typing from elementary school. I first learned how to type at home. I didn't know that there was a proper and improper way of typing. Practice consisted of a series of hand placement and lessons. The thing that challenged me the most was remembering my hand placement and the home row. My Goal was to become faster at typing.
05/4/2018 - Line Art
I am a 13 year old boy that is athletic, smart, kind, likes to eat, and funny. I chose the colors that I used because I thought that they looked close to my skin color and color shirt that I was wearing. I chose to emphasize myself in that manner because it is the way I looked on any normal day day. I chose the background of Downtown San Diego and Petco Park because I thought i was a nice picture and it the the city where I was born, live in, and growing up in. A challenge for me was getting use to using the pen tool but after that it was pretty easy. Through this experience I was able to better learn the pen tool and photo shop. The outcome of the line art was better than what I expected to be. Other than this project i never sen or heard of line art before.
05/11/2018 - My First Resume
The initial time a employer takes to review one's resume is 15 to 40 second. A resume is used to market one's self to let people know that they are wanting a job and is used to secure a interview. The name should always go at the header. The objective is suppose to state what type of job that you want. Information should be placed in reverse chronological order. This connects to the real world be cause you need a resume to get an interview which can lead to a job. I will need this when I am able to work and trying to attain a interview for a job. You do not need a resume to get a job , resumes are used to get an interview.
05/15/2018 - Face Illusion
The illusion that I see is when I cover the eye it looks like I am looking to the left. It also looks like I looking straight but when I look at it in an angle it looks like I am looking left. I haven't seen this in the real world. I could this in a video about illusions.
05/18/2018 - On the Cover
I put put the text that I did because I believe that it reflects who I am and what I like. I felt like I did include all of the text expectations. This could be used for a party that had a little magazine about yourself. The person that would create this would be the person that the party is for or their parents. It could be used for a sweet 16 or a big party for someone. I haven't seen this project, but I have seen a candy wrapper that describes the person.
5/25/18 Invitation
I did not know anything about typography prior to this unit. I assumed that it had to do with the letters that we type. It is the style of which the letters are produced in. I applied it by picking a style that I put my name and information in. Almost all careers require you to know about typography. I made sure that I used different fonts and that they complimented each other. Magazines, newspaper, food places, and ads.
